SHARKI gives us more problems than it is worth.

WAKE is shit. It can clear the server

I HATE the canals... but I'm the only 1

believe it or not I'm up for some DAMAVAND

and I think it is time to start an Infantry only mixed with vehicle maps 1 map of each...mixed tho

I have to agree with ya Slap on Wake Island but the Canals can be a pretty cool map at times..(notice I said at times.. lol) I Know there's an Issue on Sharqi with shooting into the Main Spawns but what can we do untill they release a plugin to combat it.. I'm all for
Infantry only mixed with vehicle maps 1 map of each

I could see that working well..
I'm also up for some DAMAVAND PEAK.

Wake Island will be removed & replaced by Damavand Peak today sometime..
What about M.COM Maps? T/D Match?
Keep the suggestions coming Guys..

infantry maps can be cool but then we need to look at limiting sniper hores. if we can limit the number of snipers or completely remove that kit it would actually be fun . WAKE sucks a giant COCK.

As we know, Damavand killed the server last night - its just a tank whore fest imo (if I can have one here ;)) - and I never liked it.

I am in love with metro - with restrictions on various weapons. ie rpg's etc. I know theres a plugin that can restrict weapons and kick players if they use them - and ban them (timed) if they continue to use them - 3 out of 3 kicks, bam timed ban.

What I dont know is, if the plugin can be configured to pertain to certain maps. ie: no RPG's on metro, but allow on all other maps. I know TF2 (obviously different game....) the server has a map.cfg file and can be configured to customize server options on each map - I run a tf2 server (linux based) for idling, trading etc.

There is one issue with running restrictions that change on each map - and thats getting players to know and understand what they are. Players dont always read the rules of engagement when entering a server and may not like the changing of options with various maps.

As I think Slapp said last night - if too many rules are made, they all need to be enforced and can create a nightmare for server operators/admins.

So, I'm voting a -1 for Damavand, and +1 for metro with suitable restrictions.

I am quite pleased with the rotation atm. I just find it hard work getting into the server as queues can be 5 long. This is fantastic, in fact. So, I am getting use to playing in other servers and finding it easier going score wise. Thanks for asking for an opinion on rotation. I also heard that there may be a new map pack coming out soon with US cities. Could be interesting and with a new cost, I am sure!

My personal preference is the infantry styled maps; Grand Bazaar, Strike At Karkand, Seine Crossing, Metro and Damavand Peak. To a lesser extent I don't mind Sharqi Peninsula and Tehran Highway. Though any of these maps can be problematic.

While it depends on the players and teams at the time, too often you have teams with far too many snipers or pilots when there isn't really enough players a side to justify it. You will often encounter players that don't want to capture flags or work as squads and teams (regardless of server population). I see the instant vehicle spawn as nuisance. You can kill the enemy, and quicker than they respawn, their vehicle can be out marauding again. I try to avoid a full server as I feel it is too chaotic to be enjoyed. Somewhere between thirty to fifty players is most enjoyable in my opinion (provided they play with the right spirit).

I've been playing alot of Team Death Match lately and find that enjoyable, though it throws up its own set of problems (as do all game modes). I am not overly familiar with the administrative side of this game, so commenting on plugins and setting up mixed modes would just be naive. Probably best to have one game mode and one set of rules.
